I am so happy that I came upon your website! I have struggled for it seems forever to find a foundation that matches my skin color. I have been using bareminerals but it doesnt give good coverage so I wanted to find a new foundation. I have been trying different makeup but havent found the right match. I am half filipino/white and ended up with a yellow undertone to my skin. The bamboo color is a perfect match and I asked my boyfriend how it looked and he said I didnt realize you were wearing and makeup.. That is how great your foundation is its so light weight and feels great! thanks for the great products.

I have an Asian ancestor on my father's side of the family, and I ended up having yellow skin and nearly black hair. I'm a multiracial Black woman, and as a result I have a very unusual skin complexion. My skin is a very light brown, however with very slight peach undertones and mostly yellow/olive undertones. Therefore, I've never been able to find a foundation or powder that matches my skin. I've tried everything from M.A.C, Covergirl, Maybeline, Mineral Makeup, and Chanel. I even tried makeup for women of color such as Iman and Black Opal. And like every product I've tried, they all give my skin a pinkish or orangey color or either they’re simply too dark or brown.

Overall I have really healthy skin, and I usually lots of compliments. But because of my hectic lifestyle, I occasionally get dark circles. And like every woman I want an extra boost to make me feel glamorous. I had pretty much given up any hope of finding a product that worked for me. Until one night I decided to do a search on the Internet. I typed in “make up for yellow undertones”. And Zhen came up in the search results.

Of course I was very skeptical, but after reading the wonderful testimonials and the story of Susan. I decided to take a leap and order some samples. I ordered the Foundation Sticks and the loose powders in the two darkest colors since I wasn’t sure which would match my skin. As soon as I received my samples, I immediately began experimenting with them. I found my perfect match to be Sand and a combination of the both the Bamboo and Amber powders.

Besides the fact that the makeup matches, I doesn’t feel like I’m wearing anything. Zhen is the answer to all of my makeup prayers. I now feel completely confident about my skin.

I have been looking for a foundation to correctly match my skin tone for a loooong time. Nothing ever matched. After much frustration and spent money, I decided to do some research. I learned that women with ethnic backgrounds (i.e, Hispanic, Oriental, Indian, etc) have yellow skin undertones. Most commercial foundations cater to women with pink/rose undertones. Then...I found Zhen! While this particular cosmetic line is geared toward Asian women, the foundation has that above-mentioned yellow undertone. My Hispanic skin has found it's perfect match and perfect foundation...The stick foundation in Almond. I think this is a fabulous company with amazing products. About a year and a half ago I gave my nephew a bottle of the Tea Tree Facial Cleanser to try – his face was just a mess with acne. I’d been successful in clearing up my own 43 year old skin and thought “what the heck?!”. Three weeks later, when I saw him again, my nephew’s face looked great and he was so excited. He wanted to make sure I kept him stocked with Tea Tree Facial Cleanser! “Aunt Kathi, that stuff is THE BEST!”

Soon his friends were asking how he got his face cleared up and he gave part of a bottle to a friend who had acne on his face and on his back – and it cleared up, too. Then, last summer a friend’s high school age daughter was having a terrible time with her complexion and I gave HER a bottle. Guess what? Clear skin.

This week, I finally saw the kid I’ve been trying to corner at my health club (where he works) to give him a bottle of Tea Tree Facial Cleanser. Now, I don’t know this kid – he simply hands me a key to a locker when I go to the gym. So I was taking a gamble here of permanently scarring him for life! I assume he’s in high school and I’ve wanted to pull him aside since the holidays but never could catch him at an opportune moment when lots of people weren’t around.
